Welcome to Haight Street Tattoo and Piercing, located a few steps (or blocks) down from the historic corner of Haight and Ashbury. You don't have to be in the market for a tattoo or piercing to stop by, we have a lovingly curated selection of jewelry carefully sourced from around the world. History

Established in 1992.

We are located in the historic Haight and Ashbury neighborhood. We are the oldest tattoo shop in the Haight Street area. We specialize in refined, organic and ornate jewelry and have the largest selection in Northern California.

Originally founded in 1990 in Santa Cruz, California, the original shop Anubis Warpus then moved to Haight Ashbury and was the first tattoo shop to include body piercing. Before that, the two industries were not linked. We changed the name to Haight Ashbury Tattoo in 2006 to reflect our long standing heritage to the area. We now shortened our name to Haight Street Tattoo as we relocated along Haight Street to the corner junction of Cole St.
